Fresh Cup Roastery and Café is located on Mount Newton Cross Road, just across from the Prairie Inn Liquor Store. They roast their own coffee and have a lovely selection of baked goods to choose from. Open daily 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Beauregard Commons is a casual coffee bar located just off the main drag in Brentwood Bay. It’s also the home of Bicycle Pizza. Open Monday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Closed on Sundays.
Brentwood Bay Village Empourium is another Brentwood gem, located across the street from Brewskys at Wallace and West Saanich Road, with coffee, snacks and a curated selection of merchandise. The owners are also deeply committed to supporting the arts, so there’s usually some kind of art exhibit and the occasional small coffeehouse evening concert. You’ll find specifics on their website. Open Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Mosi Bakery, Café and Gelateria is a huge favourite with locals and a very popular refreshment stop for cyclists. Located at the corner of West Saanich and Spartan Road you can indulge in coffee, fresh baked goods or gelato. Open Monday – Saturday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, and Sundays (with a brunch menu) from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Fox & Monocle is a bakery by day, and award-winning restaurant by night. They are located right near the ferry terminal at 2300 Canoe Cove Road in Canoe Cove Marina, right at the bottom of the hill on the right-hand side. The bakery is open Thursday – Monday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, or until they are sold out. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
If you’re needing a Starbucks fix, the closest is in Sidney on the corner of Beacon and Third. There’s also one in the Save-On Foods on Beacon. There is a Tim Horton’s in Sidney beside the Save-On Foods, and you can also find a Tim’s at the Esso station at Mount Newton Cross Road just west of the Patricia Bay Highway (Hwy 17).
